I would have liked to been able to know the manufactured date before I purchased it. I didn't know until it arrived that it was over a year old already. Since it is supposed to be replaced after 5 years that is significant information. I had an awfully hard time finding a flush mount version though so I was glad to get it. Old ones did not react as fast as these newer models. Occasionally one goes off, Just hit silence alarm and vent the area. The unit gives you enough time to vent the area before the alarm goes off again. I can sleep with confidence. |
